New Watch Alert: Pavonina

German watchmaker Glashütte Original newest product launch: the Pavonina women’s timepiece collection.

The 20-piece collection will hit retail doors this month. The collection marks the first full women’s line to be offered in decades by Dresden, Germany-based watchmaker, a subsidiary of Swatch Group.

Named after the Latin word for peacock — pavoninus — the Pavonina collection borrows colors and forms from the opulent bird. There are straps in purple and teal satin, while the range’s most elaborate red gold and diamond decorated watch features a fanning peacock tail of 98 hand-set diamonds on its mocha or mother of pearl-colored Colorit dial.

Money To Blow: Bottle Service - Vol. 7

ESLYN C. WOODALL
The next time you order bottle service, check to see if one of these exclusive beverages are on the menu!

 Le Billionaire: Vodka - $3.7M

The bottle in question will come in two primary versions: the purple hue and the white one. On both, the bottle will have 3000 precious diamonds which makes it so precious and rather blingy. The fact that most of them have been individually handcrafted especially adds to the exclusivity factor, which also is the case for the Swarovski crystals on the gold labeling - especially the dot on the ‘I’ of billionaire and the ‘B’ itself.

Speaking of the Vodka inside, the beverage has been created using an exclusive selection of ingredients which includes the purest of wheat from Russia and water of course. When it comes to the filtering, the Vodka has been undergoing the process over and over again in equipment which had diamond detailing in it to finally lend the unique texture to the beverage.

The last part of the packaging, the designer dress also contains detailed craftsmanship in form of white faux fur designs. The reason for not using the real stuff has been Leon Verres’ association with PETA, which he maintains even for his customers.  Leon Verres has been known for producing luxury goods, including some of the world’s most exclusive and expensive alcoholic beverages.  They earlier created the Le’ Billionaire Champagne, which was the world’s most exclusive and expensive version of the beverage, which came dressed in its own designer pouch. Le Billionaire Vodka  is going to take the crown for being the most expensive and exclusive beverage of its kind in the world.  On ordering the elite bottle, be prepared to receive a pair of white gloves which is meant for the host to wear while serving the drink, which of course can also be done by the butler if you please. Not much of a connoisseur myself, but will sure wonder about the uniqueness of the diamond bathed Vodka!

Due to the recession, Stuart Weitzman has not created a pair of his stunning one-of-a-kinds shoes since 2008. He released the following statement last year: "While the Oscars will certainly still be a glamorous event, we feel this year - like we did last year -- that it is still not appropriate to be extravagant."

This year, Weitzman launched his Red Carpet Collection, featuring 35 stunning styles. The collection was made exclusive to celebrities and their stylists for the 2011 Academy Awards and then hit select stores on April 1.

2008 Retro Rose Shoes
