Money To Blow, Vol 6: Stuart Weitzman Oscar Shoes

KIA BROWN
From 2002-2008, Stuart Weitzman designed a special pair of one-of-a-kind "million dollar" jeweled shoes for one Oscar nominee to wear to the Academy Awards. Weitzman is responsible for many of the most expensive and beautiful shoes ever created.

Due to the recession, Stuart Weitzman has not created a pair of his stunning one-of-a-kinds shoes since 2008. He released the following statement last year: "While the Oscars will certainly still be a glamorous event, we feel this year - like we did last year -- that it is still not appropriate to be extravagant."

This year, Weitzman launched his Red Carpet Collection, featuring 35 stunning styles. The collection was made exclusive to celebrities and their stylists for the 2011 Academy Awards and then hit select stores on April 1.
