Monday night Ralph Lauren took over the lake at Cherry Hill, in a very dramatic way, to show his Women's Spring 2015 Polo RTW Collection. The show was part water video and water show, it featured models walking through digitally re-created parts of New York, the latter projected against streams shooting into the air, ending with the moon rising to Frank Sinatra’s “Fly Me to the Moon.”

The line is sporty, smart and sexy - all the things we love about street chic done right!

Jordan Partners With Public School

The Jordan brand partnered with Public School, winner of the 2014 CFDA Menswear Designer of Year and the U.S. International Woolmark Prize for men’s wear, to re-create the classic Jordan 1 in a limited-edition PSNY/NY23. Inspired by New York City, the hometown of designers Dao-Yi Chow and Maxwell Osborne, the collaboration features a sleek, black leather shoe and pebbled sole.

Kanye Teams Up With A.P.C.

Kanye West has teamed up with French contemporary brand A.P.C. on a capsule collection. They are to go on sale at A.P.C. stores worldwide on July 14, which is Bastille Day in France, as well as online.

The collection will consist of jeans, t-shirts and hoodies.

 

GLD Style: Brooklyn's Own DJ Clark Kent

Music producer, DJ Clark Kent, has created classic tracks for hip-hop heavyweights such as Jay-Z and also has collaborated with Nike on more than 40 sneaker projects, prefers to keep a low profile.

“I’m just a guy from Brooklyn who likes fresh stuff” said DJ Clark Kent.

When Pro-Keds needed a spokesperson for its Brooklyn Dodgers-inspired Royal Master sneaker, it called upon the emcee to dole out 42 pairs (for Jackie Robinson’s jersey number) to people of his choosing. 

The Brooklyn DJ talked to WWD about his love for kicks, the best sneaker shops and what New York basketball team has his allegiance.

Levi’s® x Nike SB 511 Skateboarding Collection

As reported by Style Sight - Levi’s® took the industry by storm last year, introducing their innovative Commuter Collection of cutting-edge performance denim designed for the urban cyclist. This season sees the brand follow up on this hybrid concept, teaming up with Nike SB for a skateboard-centric collection.

Like the Commuter range, the 511^TM Skateboarding collaboration features the popular fit of the Levi’s® 511^TM Skinny, incorporating Nike’s cutting-edge performance-enhancing fabric technologies to make the denim stronger, lighter and more comfortable. In addition to these industry-first fabric technologies, all the denim products are built using copper rivets, extra-strength thread, and bar tacks to reinforce crucial stress areas. The jeans are offered in multiple colors and washes and will be accompanied by a small assortment of collaborative products including a skateboard-specific denim trucker jacket. As part of the collection, the two brands worked with Nike team rider Omar Salazar to create a special edition of his signature shoe.
