Fashion’s fascination with all things Native American has extended to the Italians for Pre-Fall, emerging in Just Cavalli’s latest collection via a liberal use of feathers, fur and geometric patterns. The label also indulged in more traditional Americana, producing slim pants and dresses printed with a deconstructed take on the stars and stripes, as well as a number of military-inspired jackets and capes. Just Cavalli’s flashier nature shone through, despite the plethora of outerwear and oversize intarsia knits, with plenty of club-ready metallic stretch leggings, leather mini dresses and shrunken motorcycle jackets sure to appeal to their core customers.—Nina Stotler, Stylesight
