Get your mind right! Part III: What is the real meaning of love?

Hello Loves,

Have you ever heard people say 'the meaning of love is different for everyone'. I would like to know, what does it mean to you? The last time I checked the meaning of every word is found in the dictionary. We can't just go around making up our own meanings; next thing you know the entire dictionary will be invalid. What is the real meaning of  love?

Love is the unselfish, loyal and benevolent concern for the good of another. It's affection is based on admiration and common interests. You can try to interpret the meaning anyway you like; however, there is no getting around the actual, universal meaning, as defined in the dictionary. Love, is a feeling that we must learn how to express through positive behaviors. We must learn how to express our concerns and understand what it means to be loyal. Concern and loyalty are essential parts of love.

Many people confuse intense desire or longing for personal gratification, lust, for love. Love and lust are completely different. Love is associated with emotional and intellectual compatibility and sustained with clear communication. While, lust focuses on selfish concern and fulfilling sexual desires.

Today's Advice: The meaning of love is not up for interpretation!! Love has the same meaning no matter the person, language or culture. Do not fool yourself to thinking otherwise. This is the reality people, please move out of La La Land!!!

Post a comment and let me know is your relationship love or lust? Be honest, you will never be judged!

Next Tuesday, Part IV of the 'Get Your Mind Right' series. Don't miss it!

God is love. I use god as my vision. His word guides me through the lust and false pretenses put in front of me. Mrs Grandlife, I love your blog!!!

I believe that love is finding that someone who see the truth in who you really are and accepting it. Love is opening that door everyday, seeing the same person but it still feels like the first time. It's a deep emotion that will never change no matter what happens between the 2. Love is the greatness that keeps people together nothing more nothing less.
