Hip Hop is alive! Kendrick Lamar breathes life back into hip hop with his verse on Big Sean's "Control". His verse brings us back to the roots of hip hop; before rapping about designer labels and material accolades became the marketing strategy. Big Sean dropped a brand new song, "Control" on Aug. 12. The track is sending major shock waves through the rap world! The over seven minute track did not make it on his upcoming album 'Hall of Fame".
On the track Kendrick calls out some of the biggest names in rap like: Drake, Wale and A$AP Rocky. But it's a friendly competition. Like in basketball Melo and LeBron are friends off court, attending the each other's weddings, but on court it's all business! So let's keep this in perspective and leave out the negativity. Keep it all in the music and celebrate the success when the mics are dropped.
