La La's Full Court Life

La La Anthony has had quite a year. Last summer she married longtime boyfriend, pro basketball player Carmelo Anthony and moved to New York after he was traded from the Denver Nuggets to the New York Knicks.

"Everybody was blaming me for why he wanted to leave Denver. They figured for my career I wanted him in a bigger city and that was never the case. I wanted him to be happy because at the end of the day he's playing basketball, he's on the court and if he's not happy that doesn't do any of us any good. So I wanted him to be happy and ultimately he ended up here in New York with the Knicks where he is very happy so I'm happy about you know how it all played out."

The 32-year-old La La splits her time on both the east and west coast as she pursues an acting career. She just wrapped shooting the film adaptation of Steve Harvey's relationship advice book "Act Like a Lady, Think Like a Man."

"I split my time 50/50 in New York and LA so it's definitely a longer plane ride but you get used to it and I just kind of go back and forth. I like to say that I have the west coast and the east coast so I pretty much go back and forth."

The second season of La La's reality show "La La's Full Court Life" is also now airing on VH1. Cameras follow La La as she juggles the various aspects of her busy life.

One week ago she also watched her good friend Kim Kardashian walk down the aisle and marry New Jersey Nets basketball player Kris Humphries. "The wedding was amazing. It was a beautiful day, a beautiful night. Myself and Melo we had so much fun and just seeing my friend that happy with her soulmate and someone that they are both so in love with each other was just a moment and I was happy to be there."
