The Braxton Sons Can Sing Too!

(AP) -- The world may know the Braxton family for its female singers, like Toni Braxton, but the family's new generation seems to contain some talented male musicians as well.

The Braxton sisters - Toni, Traci, Towanda, Trina and Tamar - are singing sensations, with older sister Toni becoming the biggest star, selling millions of albums and winning six Grammy Awards in the process.

But the Braxton boys are musically inclined, too.

"Both of Toni's sons can sing," told Tamar - the youngest of the clan at 34.

"One of them is really candid about it. He'll just go around the house singing. You'll be like, 'Who is that?' And then the other one's real shy about it. He doesn't want you to know that he knows how to do it. So it's pretty funny," she continued.

Toni is 43 and has two sons; but she isn't the only Braxton with a singing son.

Trina, who is the second youngest of the clan, has a youngster who acts like a rock star.

"You can't tell him he is not Motley Crue, baby. He's off the chain," Tamar said, imitating Trina's son by whipping her hair back and forth and playing the air guitar.

"He thinks he's Slash," Towanda added.

"With his tight jeans and his guitar," Trina said, describing her son's style.

"I can't even fit his jeans, them things is little, baby," Tamar joked.

Tamar released her debut CD in 2000 and it peaked at Number 127 on the Billboard charts. Tamar, Towanda and Trina released an album as the Braxtons in 1996.

This musical clan currently appear in the WEtv reality series, "Braxton Family Values."
