Around the City is Grand Life Daily's new spot for what's going on in the most sexy and chic cities in the country. From nightlife to the best restaurants, we will feature only the best and noteworthy locations. All locations have been visited first hand by a member of the GLD team and receives the GLD seal of approval. If it doesn't meet our GRAND expectations then we don't include it.

Hello World! JoJo Fabs here live & effect with nothing but the Fabulous from the city that shines and doesn’t stop - MIAMI! As we all know Miami is known for the parties, the beaches and the beautiful women of course can’t forget the amazing restaurants located all over the city.

The nightlife in this city is nothing compared to any other. One of the hottest spots in the city is Club MIA. Club MIA has two floors and is located in the heart of the city, downtown on 20 Biscayne Boulevard where it gets live everyday of the week. It doesn’t matter if it’s Monday or Thursday, in Miami it’s always a party! So if you are in town you better come prepared to have no sleep. 

MIA has nothing but the best music playing and lets not mention the vibe inside is totally mind blowing. For all my big time spenders there’s the VIP section with the bottle specials, because how would you be in VIP with no bottle celebrating with friends. For all my people that just want to dance the night away there’s a downstairs area to break it down and stay on it the whole night with the bar at ease of access. MIA has the outside area for all the party people that need a little rest from dancing… take a seat, enjoy a drink from the outside bar and as well enjoy the music that is still playing inside! So whenever you’re in this amazing city please don’t hesitate to visit Club MIA and enjoy a fabulous drink with a Fabs outfit and your set for the adventure in Miami!

The Queen City

Nicknamed the Queen City, the Charlotte social scene is slowly on the rise. With clubs like 935 and Ice that have been here for years. There are a lot of other spots trying to make a breakthrough. From center city EpiCentre to Noda there is always something popping off, there is never a dull moment.

Next weekend July 3^rd, Marks the end of an era, Inner Circle Events is hanging its jersey up. Inner Circle is known for the Premium Professional Nightlife. Inner Circle Events started in 2004 by three young men wanting to provide upscale social events for the young professional community. On Sunday July 3^rd, join Inner Circle for their Fade to Black Party: The Ultimate Movement, Now The Ultimate Finale.  It’s going down at Butter Uptown at 900 East Seaboard Street.

While one group leaves the scene there are plenty more coming into play.  Just to give you a few things going on this summer:

August 7^th Summerfest 2011, the biggest concert of the year is going down at the Verizon Amphitheatre. Lil Wayne, Keri Hilson, Lloyd, and “The Boss” himself, Rick Ross just to name a few artist of the artists that will be performing.
